Board Meetings

Board meetings are held quarterly at various locations, usually during lunch.  All members are invited to attend Board meetings. Time and location will be posted on the Calendar of Events.

Overview

Too often the procurement professional is left out of the grant-writing process and is then asked to complete the acquisition process after the grant monies are received. This can be disastrous to the creation of sole source procurements, lead to potential conflicts of interest, and increase the cost of paying fines. Participants learn how to gain eligibility and apply for grant funds; how to integrate the procurement regulations into the grant; how to build a team with grants, finance, and procurement personnel to effectively manage the funds; and how to avoid the pitfalls of later liability leading to unallowable costs.
