Attention Government Agencies:

Planning is well underway for our 15th Annual Reverse Vendor Trade Show and we are excited to present this great networking opportunity again at Jack's Urban Meeting Place (JUMP), in the JUMP Room!

Similar to the change we made last year, we are sticking with the same format - the primary focus being the trade show- meaning more one-on-one time with public procurement officials!

This unique event allows Government Agencies to meet and talk directly to vendors, suppliers, contractors, and other service providers from across the state and region at one time. As a public procurement professional, you will be able to provide valuable information to the vendor community on how to do business with your agency.

The agencies staff booths while vendors roam the trade show room and meet with individuals from each of the entities. Note that if you are signing up for this event it is expected that someone from your agency will be hosting a booth!

CAN WE COUNT ON YOUR AGENCY TO PARTICIPATE?

By joining in on the IPPA 15th Annual RVTS:

Your agency may be meeting its outreach goals much more effectively
You may reduce the number of supplier visits to your office
Your agency is viewed as being “accessible” to the supplier community
You will make valuable business contacts for your agency
Your participation in this event raises scholarship funds for the IPPA Chapter to continue to grow professionally

WHAT'S INVOLVED:

At least one to two members from your agency would be staffing a booth and meeting with company representatives. You may bring your agency display, literature about doing business with your agency, business cards, and token giveaway items.

Procurement professionals, project managers, representatives from IT, engineering, and other agency departments active in contracting for goods and services should definitely attend! Suppliers want to meet with decision makers and those who specify or use goods and services.

Reach out to your agency departments and bring several people to help staff your booth!

For those agency members that work their booths, a delicious breakfast buffet will be provided from 7:30 - 8:00 a.m. during the Buyers Social at no cost! Your registration will be considered in the headcount for breakfast, so if you plan not to participate in the breakfast, please email Alyssa Ellington, IPPA Events Chair.

AGENCY BOOTH CONTEST

Back by popular demand is the Agency Booth Contest where the best booth will win a prize! Vendors will evaluate booths on two criteria:

Quality of your Booth Display including banners, informational brochures, swag, etc.
Engagement with vendors and providing them helpful information about how to do business with your agency
