Join Team IPPA for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K!

It's the 20th Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on May 12, 2018!  We're excited to have a team this year for this amazing annual event in Boise, Idaho.

We will have some fun IPPA t-shirts that we will be wearing during the race - these shirts will be free with your registration on our team (1 per registration)!  If you want to purchase an extra shirt please let us know.  Please bring a guest or 2 if you'd like to join our team.  We plan on walking together as a team but if you are feeling competitive you are welcome to run!

The cost is only $20 from now through February 20th!!  After that it goes up to $25 and higher the closer it gets.

To sign up for the race, register HERE FIRST and then go to Race Sign-up and register under "Team IPPA" on the Susan G. Komen website.

We Are Also Raising Funds!

In addition to a team, we will be raising funds to find the cure for breast cancer.  If you are unable to join us, please consider a donation to our team here: Team IPPA Page!

Why do we fundraise for breast cancer cures?

  • Because 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
  • Because every 19 seconds, somewhere in the world, a case of breast cancer is diagnosed in a woman.
  • Because every 60 seconds, somewhere in the world, someone dies from breast cancer; every 13 minutes, one woman in the U.S. will lose her life to breast cancer.
  • Because breast cancer knows no boundaries. It affects people of every age, gender, socio-economic status and location.
  • Because at the current rate, 13 million breast cancer deaths will occur around the world in the next 25 years.
  • Because it’s time to go beyond breast cancer awareness. It’s time to take action!
