Board Meetings

Board meetings are held quarterly at various locations, usually during lunch.  All members are invited to attend Board meetings. Time and location will be posted on the Calendar of Events.

Please join us for dinner, networking, and an educational presentation on cooperative purchasing with NASPO ValuePoint (National Association of State Procurement Officials) from our special guest, Vern Jones, C.P.M. of NASPO ValuePoint! He will be speaking on cooperative purchasing with states, as well as political subdivisions, so we highly encourage all to attend!

         

Vern is currently NASPO ValuePoint's Education & Outreach Coordinator for the Western Region and has 30+ years of experience in public purchasing. He was previously a Board member and Chair of NASPO ValuePoint and former Board member and President of NASPO. In addition, he served as the State of Alaska's Chief Procurement Officer for 20 years and was the Chief of Staff for Alaska's Lt. Governor.

Also, we will be touching on some Chapter business including who will be interested in holding a leadership role in IPPA for 2019. If this is something you are interested in, we will be addressing any questions or concerns regarding the available roles at the meeting.

Dinner will be at Twigs Bistro - you are welcome to bring one guest! Please note that the cost of dinner will be on your own.
